The Society for Peace and Sustainable Development (SPSD)-Pakistan is a community-led, grassroots philanthropy organization driven by a deeply committed voluntary ethos. SPSD-Pakistan operates with zero institutional payroll expenses; our core management team and executive leadership serve entirely on a voluntary basis, drawing no salaries. This ensures that maximum donor resources are channeled directly into field-level project deployment rather than administrative staff costs.
To maintain field execution, SPSD-Pakistan leverages two distinct operational strategies:
- Volunteer Deployment & Support: SPSD-Pakistan is a proud national partner network of Service Civil International (SCI), Belgium, a global volunteer exchange network. We recruit and deploy dedicated national volunteers. While they receive no salaries, the project provides a modest field stipend—not as a wage, but as a token of appreciation and a baseline allowance to cover their daily out-of-pocket operational costs. Upon successful completion, we award them appreciation certificates and endorse them for international volunteer camps.
- External Technical Expertise: To guarantee high-quality educational delivery without expanding permanent organizational staff, SPSD-Pakistan utilizes independent, third-party consultant trainers for technical sessions. This temporary contractual approach keeps our long-term structural costs at zero while ensuring participants receive elite training.
