SPSD-Pakistan believes that sports can be used as a major tool to create gender equality and peace building in Pakistan. It is the sports which transcend barriers of language, culture, and age, as well as it is a powerful catalyst for brain development and social cohesion, Peace building and create understanding and compassion across divides.
We have made a significant stride to make sports as a tool for gender equality and peace building in most rural and remote areas of South Punjab, Pakistan. We encourage more inclusive and diverse participation of rural youth particularly girls to bring positive change in the society. SPSD-Pakistan’s sports programs encourage young girls and women to participate in leadership development programs and help to bridge the gender gap in the society.
