SPSD-Pakistan ensure that people with disabilities are central to the work. We believe that Solutions are not truly equitable without their perspectives and leadership. We not only improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities but also support them to become active builders of sustainable systems. We make persons with disabilities independent in their decisions, and this has shifted power and validated the expertise of persons with disabilities to provide solutions on the ground.
SPSD-Pakistan encourage the persons with disabilities to become powerful knowledge producers and agents of positive change in the society, rather than just vulnerable victims, thereby strengthening both the disability rights and social inclusion initiatives. SPSD-Pakistan’s Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) team ensures that persons with disabilities are respected and equally included in their communities in all aspects of life.
