The Asia Pacific Network of Environmental Defenders (APNED) is a network of individuals, civil society groups, non-government organizations, grassroots and people’s organizations, who advocate and work on the issues of climate justice, human rights, environmental protection and natural resource conservation. APNED celebrate its collective efforts as a network together with fellow environmental defenders as well as stands in solidarity with the different struggles across the region for environmental rights, continuing its creative, hopeful, and courageous defense of lands, waters, and life across the region. APNED educate the community leaders at regional level that how to advocate for a genuine regional instrument on environmental rights that protects all of us from harmful effects. Collective action and commitment remain strong among APNED through its network members.
